Awesome Kids Yoga
Adaptive Needs Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm (PST)
In-person, safe, socially distanced & masked.
This adaptive yoga class incorporates traditional poses in a fun and playful way making yoga easy for children of all abilities to experience in their own way. We will breathe and move to strengthen our muscles, improve our balance, increase body awareness, relaxation and emotional regulation. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and ability. Daina will give modifications as needed.

In this camp we combine Yoga, Mindfulness and Art. Exploring traditional yoga poses and the fundamentals of mindfulness in fun and playful ways. Learning more about ourselves through journaling, self-reflection and conversation. Taking inspiration from famous artists like Matisse, Degas and Van Gogh, creating art projects with various media such as watercolors, pencil, printmaking and pastels.
Parents are invited to our outdoor art show
on the last day of camp.

This 6-week on-line course is designed to give you the skills and confidence needed to teach yoga and mindfulness to children from pre-school to fifth grade.
You will discover the theory and science behind the physical, social emotional and cognitive benefits of yoga for kids and how to teach it in a fun and playful way.
Set yourself up with the tools you need to help children build a lifetime of health and wellness.
Pre-requisite 200 hr. teacher training required to take this course.
