This 25 hr certified course is designed to give you the skills and confidence needed to teach yoga and mindfulness to children from pre-school to Fith grade.
Teacher Training
In this course you will discover the theory and science behind the physical, social emotional and cognitive benefits of yoga for kids and how to teach it in a fun and playful way. You will gain access to the skills & confidence needed to teach yoga and mindfulness to kids effectivly.
*Pre-requisite 200 hr. teacher training is required to take this course.
How it works
This 25-hour six-week course takes place Thursday evenings 6-9pm. Each week includes 3hours of online meetings where we will cover course material, learn theory and practice yoga together. In addition to our Thursday classes this course includes 1 to 2 hours of homework each week and requires attending/observing three live kids yoga class with Daina to graduate. Each module will have a mix of zoom meetings, worksheets and homework. Modules include some video lectures, weekly in person zoom lessons, interactive exercises, downloadable lesson plans, reflection questions, quizzes, and age appropriate teaching points for each age group.

In the case that you may need to cancel a 50% refund will be given with 10 days cancelation notice. Course may be posponed to a later date at no charge. Total cost will be forfited after one year from original course date. No refunds will be given with in 10 days of course start date.
